Welcome to my website, my name is Luc Pomfret

BA (Hons) Music Performance Management

I am a university graduate that specialises in Writing, Recording, Mixing, Engineering, Producing and Teaching.

Performing/featuring in 10+ original bands/acts have allowed me to hone my instruments in a wide variety of different genres such as Pop, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Country, Folk and R&B.

My experience has allowed for me to earn my Electric Guitar Grade 8 qualification certificate at the age of 15 along with being awarded Best Drummer at the Bucks Battle Of The Bands Competition, 2018I have performed alongside names such as Kaiser Chiefs, Feeder, Tony Hadley, Republica and Lionize (US).

Performing in a live and studio environment is my passion and I proceed to expand my love for it when sessioning for other musicians and up and coming acts such as Cold Callers, Harrison Walker, Bollo Bollo, Klára Brožová, Nightjar and many more.

Over the past 6 years, I have made a huge interest in recording and delving into the world of editing, mixing and producing. This has positively helped with not only my own musical process but with others who are in need of a recording that is radio-ready. "Sounded so good, that started so small then just exploded, big big fan of that" - BBC Home Counties Radio.

Throughout my musical journey, I have been able to teach my main instrument, guitar to 100+ students between the ages of 4 - 65. I have taught in a variety of schools and private schools hosting 1-2-1 lessons along with group clinics in an assembly fashion and have allowed students to perform in front of their family and friends. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and live for those moments when something just clicks when working with a student. I have had the pleasure to be a student at XYZ Music Academy for a number of years to then be invited to become a teacher and it has made me grow sufficiently as a musician, mentor, team worker and have been able to build a strong rapour with all my students.

"There have been plenty of Eureka moments when Luc has explained something to me and it’s just clicked and made a big difference"

- Paul Nicolls.
